They don’t look crisp, because the photo isn’t crisp, i.e.,sharp. A difficult order, I admit, at such close distances, but it’s important.
Ah I see, but I wasn’t going for a sharp image. Crisp referred to the state of the flowers. I like playing with movement in photos as I think it gives it a more magical quality. I don’t think perfect focus always makes a perfect photograph.
I love that title “Crispy Flowers”. And the background is lovely, it looks like watercolors.
